Age Requirement

LrnQik is an 18+ platform. Individuals below 18 years of age are not permitted to independently use the LrnQik website or services.

A person under 18 must not independently create a LrnQik account, post a tuition requirement, register as a tutor, unlock contacts, contact users, purchase coins or otherwise use LrnQik services.

Where tuition is required for a learner below 18, an eligible Parent or legal Guardian aged 18 or above may use LrnQik on behalf of that learner, where permitted by applicable law.

Information We Collect

Depending on how you use LrnQik, we may collect information such as:

• Name and basic profile information.
• Mobile or telephone number.
• Email address.
• City, locality or general location information.
• Tuition requirements and educational preferences.
• Subjects, classes, boards and teaching preferences.
• Tutor qualifications and professional information.
• Information relating to account activity.
• Payment and transaction-related information where applicable.
• Messages, enquiries, reviews or other information submitted through the platform.
• Technical information such as browser, device, app version, operating system, usage and diagnostic information, where collected.
• App account and authentication information, such as login identifiers and access/session tokens used to keep your account signed in.
• Push-notification registration tokens and notification delivery information, where push notifications are enabled.
• Information generated when you use app features, including tuition lead unlocks, wallet activity and support requests.

Guest Tuition Posting

LrnQik may allow an eligible adult Parent or legal Guardian to submit a tuition requirement without first creating a full account, where the relevant feature is available.

Information submitted through a guest tuition posting may include the learner's educational requirements, location, preferred classes or subjects and the Parent/Guardian's contact information.

The information is used to process the tuition requirement and facilitate communication with relevant tutors.

Tutor Information

Tutors may provide information such as their name, mobile number, email address, location, subjects, classes, qualifications, experience, teaching preferences and other profile information.

Some tutor information may be displayed to other eligible users where necessary for the operation of the LrnQik marketplace and communication between tutors and people seeking tuition.

How We Use Information

LrnQik may use collected information for purposes including:

• Creating and managing user accounts.
• Processing tuition requirements.
• Connecting tutors with relevant tuition opportunities.
• Facilitating direct communication between users.
• Providing, maintaining and improving LrnQik services.

LrnQik does not intend to sell users' personal information as a commercial product.

Information may nevertheless be shared where reasonably necessary to operate the platform, provide requested services, facilitate tuition communication, process transactions, maintain security, or comply with applicable law.

• Tutors and Parents/Students: relevant tuition-related information may be shared to facilitate communication.
• Service Providers: trusted technical, hosting, communication, payment or other service providers may process information necessary to provide their services.
• Legal and Regulatory Authorities: information may be disclosed where required or permitted by applicable law.
• Safety and Security: information may be used or disclosed where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents or violations of LrnQik's Terms.

Sharing Contact Information Between Tutors and Parents/Students

LrnQik is a platform that facilitates communication between tutors and individuals seeking tuition services.

Parent/Guardian Information

Where an adult Parent or legal Guardian uses LrnQik on behalf of a learner below 18, the Parent/Guardian should provide only information that is reasonably necessary for the tuition requirement.

LrnQik may use the Parent/Guardian's contact information to facilitate communication with tutors regarding the relevant tuition requirement.

Cookies & Technologies

LrnQik may use cookies and similar technologies to support essential website functions, remember preferences, improve performance, understand usage and help maintain security.

Some third-party services used by the website may also place cookies or similar technologies in accordance with their own policies.

Communications

LrnQik may contact users regarding account activity, tuition requirements, enquiries, security matters, transactions, service updates, support requests and other information necessary to provide the service.

Where users provide contact details for communication purposes, those details may also be used to respond to enquiries or provide requested support.

The LrnQik Tutor Partner Android app may use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to deliver notifications about account activity, tuition opportunities, wallet or transaction events and other service updates. If this feature is enabled, the app may send a push-notification registration token to LrnQik so notifications can be routed to the relevant app installation. Google/Firebase may process technical information as part of delivering this service, in accordance with their applicable terms and privacy documentation. You can manage notification permissions through your device settings; disabling notifications may prevent you from receiving them.

Payments & LrnQik Coins

Where LrnQik offers paid services, including the purchase or use of LrnQik coins, transaction-related information may be processed for payment, accounting, fraud prevention, customer support and related purposes.

Payment information may be processed by third-party payment providers. LrnQik may not directly store complete payment card or banking credentials where those details are handled by the relevant payment provider.

In the app, LrnQik may display your available coin balance, active package details and transaction history retrieved from your LrnQik account. When a purchase is made through the website or a payment provider, LrnQik may receive transaction references, order status, payment verification results and related records needed to credit coins, provide support, prevent fraud and maintain accounting records. Payment credentials should be handled by the payment provider where its checkout is used; users should consult that provider's privacy information for its processing practices.

Data Security

LrnQik takes reasonable measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, disclosure or destruction.

However, no internet transmission, website, database or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

The app uses account authentication to access LrnQik services. Users should protect their device and login credentials and should log out on shared devices. LrnQik should not include passwords, access tokens, phone numbers or other sensitive personal information in public logs or diagnostic messages. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Data Retention

LrnQik may retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing services, maintaining records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, preventing abuse and complying with applicable legal obligations.

When information is no longer reasonably required, LrnQik may delete, anonymize or otherwise dispose of it in accordance with applicable requirements and operational practices.

If you request account deletion, LrnQik will review and process the request and delete personal information associated with the account that is no longer required, subject to applicable law and legitimate needs such as resolving disputes, preventing fraud, maintaining security or meeting legal and accounting obligations. Any information retained for these reasons will be limited to what is necessary and retained only for the applicable period. Push-notification tokens associated with the account should be unregistered or deleted when they are no longer needed.

Privacy Rights

Subject to applicable law and reasonable verification requirements, users may contact LrnQik regarding their personal information and may request appropriate action where available under applicable law.

Third-Party Services

LrnQik may use third-party providers for services such as website hosting, analytics, payment processing, email, SMS, WhatsApp or other communication infrastructure, security and technical services.

Such providers may process information on behalf of LrnQik as necessary to provide their services. Their own privacy policies may also apply to their processing activities.

The Android app may integrate Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications and other technical libraries required for app functionality. Depending on the features used and the versions integrated, these providers or SDKs may process device/app information, notification tokens, diagnostics or other technical data. LrnQik is responsible for reviewing the SDKs actually included in the published app and updating this policy and the Google Play Data safety form to match their real data practices. Data Transfers

Depending on the technical infrastructure and third-party services used by LrnQik, information may be processed or stored in locations outside the user's immediate location or outside India, where permitted by applicable law.

LrnQik will take reasonable steps applicable to its operations in relation to such processing and any legally required safeguards.

LrnQik may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in its services, technology, legal requirements or privacy practices.
